Getting
involved with the Southlands Country Fair As the Country Fair approaches, there are lots of ways to get involved. Contact Fair Coordinators Pippa Emrick or Crissy Barbata to be put in touch with the right individual at Southlands. Latest Updates! Now accepting at the SRC office: Books, CDs and DVDs, thrift sale items (except clothes), and used riding gear for dress-up. Volunteers are still needed! Wendy Gilmour will schedule you to run the thrift sale or dress-up booths, lead pony rides, sell tickets, look after our food vendors on Fair Day, run games for the kids, and many other necessary jobs! Can your horse help? They're needed to entertain the vistiors and give rides to kids in the Pony Ride arena. A horse who can do tricks would be especially welcome ... This year, the Kids' Baking Contest will be accepting entries on the day. Get your recipes ready! And coordinator Whitney Santos is also requesting donations for the Bake Sale Donate an item or service for the Silent Auction - the more creative the better! Contact Donna Tangye for ideas. Help the Country Fair without lifting a finger - just contact Pippa to volunteer your front lawn for a sign advertising the Fair. Larry Emrick will come by and set it up!
