Southlands Riding Club
Riding
facilities on the Club's 16 acres of "green space" include an indoor
arena (100x210'), covered arena (100x245'), four outdoor rings for
dressage and jumping, a large field, cross-country course, half-mile
track, lunge ring/round pen, and event stabling. The grounds are
open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and rings are equipped with
lights for evening riding.
The
facilities are used 365 days of the year by our riding members and
visitors, and grounds staff groom the riding surfaces daily.
No horses
are permanently stabled on the grounds, though there are several
boarding and lesson barns in the surrounding area, within easy riding
distance. Our information brochure
contains contact information and a map of the area.
The
clubhouse, frequently used by community groups such as the
Southlands Ratepayers Association, Vancouver Pony Club, and
Southlands/UEL Trail Riders, is available for rental and can
accommodate groups of up to 75. Please contact the Club Manager to
inquire about renting any of our facilities.
