Liz Morton Instructor - Southlands Riding Club (604)
339-5269 Liz has over 35 years of experience in riding, competing and caring for horses, and has focused on Dressage for the past 15 years. She has trained and competed to Third Level, working with several of the Lower Mainland’s prominent coaches during this time. Liz is a certified Equine Canada Level I Coach and has made teaching her career since 1998. Liz also holds a graduate-level diploma in Adult Education and specializes in working with adult learners and riders, teaching dressage fundamentals from Introductory Level (walk/trot) to Second Level. Instruction emphasizes skill development, progressive training in the classical tradition, and appreciation of horsemanship. For those who wish to compete, coaching at local competitions is available. Liz enjoys working with all breeds of horses, and finds it rewarding to see these “ordinary” horses develop their potential through progressive dressage training. Horses
are available for lessons (all levels) and for part lease to
intermediate+ riders in a regular lesson program. Inquiries are
