Margot is a Equine Canada Level I Certified Coach who has also achieved Pony Club " A" level status. Her experience in the field of 3-Day Eventing gives her a wide range of expertise, which she uses to teach a broad spectrum of students, including beginners and Pony Club. Margot has had 32 years of experience riding, training and caring for horses.

Margot was a member of the Canadian National Team Prince Phillip Games and in 1976 competed in England where she won  bronze. Margot also competed in Holland and in France in 1984 as a member of the Canadian National Student World Cup Team. Competing in  two phase competition, (dressage and show jumping) she won individual bronze while in Holland.

In fact, the Vancouver Pony Club, with Margot as coach, won the National Finals of the Prince Philip Games in 1997, 2001, 2002 and 2003.  Margot herself has been a Prince Philip Games competitor, and has represented Canada in England, Holland and France.

Margot enjoys teaching her students the true value of working together in partnership with their horses, and in developing a special friendship between horse and rider.
