These two curious and friendly yearlings arrived from Freedom’s Gate Equine Rescue in Salmon Arm after being picked up from an Alberta auction earlier this year. Hen-Le (Palomino) is expected to mature around 14-14.3hh, while Flora (Bay) is likely to grow to 15hh+. They’re already charming visitors with their sweet personalities.

MOONFLOWER

Moonflower is a lovely 14hh black and white Welsh x pony with a kind eye and a sweet, willing nature. She came into Freedoms Gate care when her previous owner was moving out of the country and made the thoughtful decision to surrender her after Moonflower injured her right hind and needed time to rest rather than be sold while lame. After some rest x-rays and ultrasound showed no injuries. She is halter trained, good with her feet, comfortable loading, and has had plenty of groundwork, even being lightly sat on. After three months at Brent Stewart Performance developing a solid foundation, we’re thrilled that we will continue her journey here at the club, furthering her education and preparing her for the perfect adoption match.
