SRC Youth Bursary program

SRC proudly offers bursaries to youth riders to help them achieve their equestrian goals. The SRC Youth Bursary is aimed at supporting young horse persons of all disciplines who are current riding or wish to ride at Southlands Riding Club, are HCBC members, full-time secondary-school students and where financial resources and/or personal hardship is a significant impediment to them reaching their equestrian goals.

We extend a tremendous thanks to longtime Club member, Carolyn Stewart, for inspiring this Program with her generous donation in 2019. Carolyn recognized that many young riders - and their families - would benefit from financial assistance with Club-related expenses.

What can the FUNDING be used for?

The bursaries can be used to help pay for the following:

  • Club Initiation Fees

  • Club Membership Dues
